Electronic Rat Control Devices
Electronic Rat Control
The options towards pest control have changed over the years, but the central problem many homeowners face is how to kill rats. There are many different methods available now, from glue traps, poisons and the old stand by snap traps, however, one safe and effective method of getting rid of rodents in the home has emerged as a leader in pest control
Electronic rodent control is not only safe for children in the home, but pets as well and rather than contaminating spaces with poison that could prove harmful or glue that could pose a sticky situation for anyone curiously or accidentally coming up on it. Household pets will not be harmed should they happen upon a rat that has been killed using an electric rat killer, as the rodent is killed via electrical charge rather than poison, making this another very safe and reliable method of electric rodent control.
Most electronic rat control devices work by using technology that transmits a powerful range of ultrasonic sound waves in the 45,000 Hz range. These are designed to automatically change, high intensity frequencies and pulse sequences were designed to output at known auditory sensitivity ranges of rats and mice, rather than at the lower frequencies that humans and most domestic pets such as dogs and cats can hear. Because most electronic rodent control devices do change the frequency and sequences that they emit, the rats and mice do not usually “get used to” the pulses, and are repelled from the premises in a clean, safe rodent control method that harms nothing in the process.
When combined with techniques of sealing the home from rodent entry, electronic rodent control proves to be a very effective method of pest control without having to run the risk of poison or glues, and without the mess of traditional snap traps. Also, it has been noted that the pulse wave methods can also deter other pests, such as spiders and various insects from wanting to be in the home, making this method of rodent control much, much more versatile than simply killing the rats and mice, while others, using stored electrical energy, trapped the rodent in an easy to empty box, once again, not requiring you to actually have to touch the dead rodent, or endangering others by having a poisoned rat carcass end up somewhere for later discovery.
Installation and set up of the electronic rodent control devices is generally as simple as plugging them in at various points in your home. Most cover a fairly broad range of area, and will continue to emit the pulses as long as the device is plugged in. Electronic rat traps that do, in fact kill the rats typically work with a set of four AA batteries, another poison free solution that will generally kill up to 20 rodents per battery installation.
